ZESCO Limited has continued with its intervaled load-shedding schedule for residential customers in Lusaka, albeit with some changes.
Company spokesperson Matongo Maumbi said in a statement yesterday that the effected changes are aimed at improving adherence to the schedule.
The changes are that Zesco customers in residential areas will have their second power outage adjusted.
With effect from April 1, Zesco altered the daily loadshedding hours for Lusaka residential areas from eight hours to two halves of four hours.
Since then, power supply in Group C areas has been cutting at 06:00 hours and getting restored at 10:00 hours until 18:00 hours for another cut that lasted until 22:00 hours.
