NETBALL Zambia risks being fined £5,000 (about K144, 000) should the national team fail to travel to Botswana for the Africa Netball Championship.
Association president Martha Sichone has called on the corporate world to assist with the K230,000 shortfall. The tournament will run from November 26 to December 6 in Gaborone.
Sichone said in an interview yesterday that they had a budget of K1.3 million and have managed to raise K100,000. The association has also secured a chartered plane at no cost.
