GREEN Eagles assistant coach Tom Chaloba has called for more support from the corporate world in a bid to grow rugby.
Chaloba said in the aftermath of his team’s 19-0 loss to Red Arrows in the final of the Independence Sevens Rugby Challenge in Lusaka that sound sponsorship has power to change the rugby landscape in Zambia.
“It [sponsorship] actually helped us to reform as a team. The corporate world has really rejuvenated Green Eagles thanks to a number of corporate campiness that have come in,” Chaloba said in an interview last Saturday.
