UNITED Kingdom (UK) based stand-up comedian Daliso Chaponda says comedy has a key role to play in promoting tourism among African countries.
Mr Chaponda said comedians usually bring together people of diverse culture, race and ages on one platform, telling them about culture but in a funny manner.
“We have comedians that come from Africa like Trevor Noah, myself and others and we talk about culture but in a funny way. This helps to promote tourism,” he said.
