JUST like in Luanda last Wednesday, Zambia last night ran riot demolishing Angola by six unanswered goals to qualify to the 2024 Morocco Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAfCON) finals with a 12-0 aggregate victory.
Zambia coach Bruce Mwape was impressed with the performance of his players.Mwape said the players put in a good shift better than in Luanda.
“I am happy with the performance for today [yesterday], although we had already qualified to the WAfCON. We just wanted to finish them off. The girls played well as compared to the way they played in Angola. Today, they did create a lot of scoring chances especially in the first half when we missed clear chances,” he said.
