We want less politics, more development next year – Mweetwa

CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa has requested the opposition to give Government room to be able to focus on finding solutions to the challenges affecting the nation.
Mr Mweetwa has assured the nation that 2024 will be a year to accelerate development across the country.
Speaking when he featured on Prime Television’s Oxygen of Democracy programme on Monday night, Mr Mweetwa, who is minister of Information and Media, said 2024 will be a year of delivering development to the expectations of the Zambian people.
“To the citizens out there, 2024 is another year but one which is different to us as New Dawn administration because we consider it to be the last year before 2026. 2025 will just be full of politics, but 2024 is the year of delivering to the expectations of the people of this country,” he said…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
