THE Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts is collaborating with the Ministry of Health to conduct impactful community-based artistic activities meant to address the cholera outbreak.
This innovative initiative aims at engaging and empowering communities by adding a compelling voice to the dangers of cholera and emphasising the preventive measures.
This is according to a statement released by Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts Permanent Secretary Fumba Chama.
The artistic activation awareness programmes, which commenced on Saturday, include a series of community theatre performances in various marketplaces.
Mr Chama said the drama and theatre performances will take place in various marketplaces, providing a unique opportunity to reach diverse communities and ensure broad participation.
