THE Lusaka Magistrates Court has found Economic and Equity Party president Chilufya Tayali with a case to answer in a matter he is charged with inciting mutiny.
Magistrate Kelvin Soma ruled yesterday that from the evidence adduced, a prima facie case had been made out against Tayali.
“I am satisfied that the prosecution has established a prima facie case against the accused and, accordingly, place him on his defence,” Mr Soma said in his ruling.
Defence lawyer Mulenga Mwango told the court that his client will give a sworn statement and will call one witness.
