MIDFIELDER Evarine Katongo says pressure will be on Zambia when they face Ghana in a 2024 Paris Olympic Games second round first leg in Accra on Friday.
Katongo said Ghana is an experienced side with good players but is confident the Copper Queens will carry the day.
She said they are targeting winning the away game with a comfortable margin to ease pressure in the return fixture set for February 28 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
“In the first leg I am sure we will have more pressure, being an away game, but as a team we are preparing very well because we want to finish the game in Ghana and just wrap it up in the return leg here,” Katongo said.
“Ghana is somehow more experienced with experienced players. We just have to work hard for this match because it being an Olympic Games qualifier, every team want to win, even us we want to go to the Olympics, even Ghana.”…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
