ABOUT 17 districts in some parts of Luapula and Northern provinces are likely to experience above-normal rainfall leading to flooding in some instances.
However, some areas over Central, Copperbelt, Eastern, Lusaka, Luapula, Muchinga, North-Western, Southern and Western provinces are at high risk of experiencing continued dry spells and high temperatures.
According to a 14-day weather report by Zambia Meteorological Department, districts like Chipili, Mwansabombwe, Kawambwa, Nchelenge and Chiengi in Luapula Province are expected to record above-normal rainfall between February 15 and 29.
