Government committed to gender equality – Nalumango

VICE-PRESIDENT Mutale Nalumango says Government is committed to promoting gender equity and equality through the effective implementation of gender policies coordinated by Gender Division under Cabinet Office.
Mrs Nalumango said through the multi-sectoral approach, alongside other development and cooperating partners, Government is committed to protecting and promoting women’s rights, curbing gender-based violence and reducing gender inequalities.
The Vice-President said these efforts are in line with Vision 2030.
