FORMER Vice-President Enoch Kavindele says even amid a calculated ploy to divert attention by those who are accused of corruption, President Hakainde Hichilema should strive to push the fight against graft to its logical conclusion.
Last week, there was a petition signed by Our Civic Duty Association (OCiDA) chairperson retired Archbishop Telesphore Mpundu to United States Ambassador to Zambia Michael Gonzales to sanction President Hichilema, Inspector General of Police Graphel Musamba, Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Jack Mwiimbu and Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti.
Others are Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Gilbert Phiri, Chief Justice Mumba Malila and Attorney-General Mulilo Kabesha.
