ROAD Development Agency (RDA) board chairperson Mulchand Kuntawala has complained before court that lawmaker Munir Zulu’s allegations that he sent a US$150,000 bribe to Cabinet Minister Charles Milupi were damaging to his reputation.
Mr Kuntawala, a member of the Institute of Directors, said because of Zulu’s utterances, people who know him will question his credibility.
“My reputation has been put in a negative manner,” he said in a case Zulu is facing three counts of libel.
The lawmaker accused Minister of Finance and National Planning Situmbeko Musokotwane and Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Mr Milupi of receiving US$25,000 bribes each from an unnamed company.
The 35-year-old lawmaker also claimed that Mr Kuntawala sent US$150,000 to Mr Milupi prior to the former’s appointment as RDA board chairperson…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/
