THE Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Zambia’s Diana Chikotesha for video assistant referee (VAR) duties for two CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup quarter-final matches this month and in April.
Chikotesha will be in the VAR room when Tunisian side Esperance face ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast in a CAF Champions League quarter-final tie at Stade Olympique Stadium in Rades on March 30.
She will again be engaged in VAR duties in Cairo on April 7 when Zamalek take on Future in a Confederation Cup last-eight clash.
This is according to a statement posted yesterday on the Football Association of Zambia Facebook page.
