GOVERNMENT has made significant strides in creating an enabling environment for accessing information held by government institutions by enacting the Access to Information law.
Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana says this is a significant milestone for investigative journalism in Zambia.
Mr Kawana was speaking yesterday during a one-day investigative journalism training workshop organised by Zambia Institute of Mass Communication (ZAMCOM) Education Trust.
