NDINAWE SIMPELWE
Ndola
POWER Dynamos and Nkana yesterday registered morale-raising victories ahead of Saturday’s Kitwe derby set for Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Power’s win pushed them to third position with 48 points, two better than Maestro United Zambia (MUZA), who dropped to fourth position, while Nkana climbed the ladder to 11th position with 34.
Leaders Red Arrows have 57 points, seven ahead of Zesco United.
MUTONDO 0 POWER 1
A second-half Frederick Mulambia goal was enough for Power to edge Mutondo Stars and arrest their three-match winless streak.
After a barren first half at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe, Power skipper Godfrey Ngwenya shook the net on 48 minutes but the goal was ruled offside.
But Mulambia ensured Power earned maximum points in the 57th minute.
Mutondo have 32 points and are in 12th position…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
