GOVERNMENT says the process of formulating the Climate Change Bill has reached an advanced stage.
Ministry of Green Economy and Environment Permanent Secretary Douty Chibamba says the proposed legislation is currently with the Ministry of Justice undergoing refinement and finalisation.
He was speaking to journalists in Lusaka yesterday.
Dr Chibamba said the bill is cross-cutting in nature and requires broad stakeholder consultation and due diligence.
