Johnnie Walker registers first lucky winner of new Toyota Mark X car

A Lusaka resident, Vashti Mulenga, is a first lucky winner of a sleek new Toyota Mark X car in the whisky brand, Johnnie Walker, promotion recently launched in partnership with ShopRite stores across Zambia.
The campaign offers customers the chance to win one of three vehicles. The brand-new Toyota Mark X won by Ms Mulenga is worth K160,000.
Ms Mulenga was recently presented with the keys at the cosmopolitan Shoprite stores in Lusaka, where she expressed joy over the unexpected win.
Customers who purchase any Johnnie Walker products, such as the Black Label or Blue Label, at ShopRite stores automatically qualify for the competition.
“This initiative aims to reward loyal customers with valuable prizes as part of a nationwide celebration of Johnnie Walker’s 200-year legacy,” Johnnie Walker Zambia Country Director Lilamy Lilamy, said, underscoring the importance of rewarding customers for their loyalty and the brand’s commitment to bringing more value to its consumers.
“This is just the beginning. We are thrilled to give back to our loyal customers who have supported Johnnie Walker for so many years,” said Lilamy.

In addition to the main prize of a vehicle, there are also smaller consolation prizes, including airtime, making the campaign inclusive for all participating customers.
“I am so grateful for this amazing gift, having my own car will make it so much easier to get to my patients and provide them with the care they need”, said Mulenga, who works as a private physiotherapy technologist.
“It will also help me run my daily errands and make life so much more convenient”, she said.
“I can finally say goodbye to the expensive and often unreliable public transportation I used to rely on”.
“And to think of it, all I wanted was a little drink to unwind after a long day. Who would have thought that would lead to me winning this beauty?”, she asked.
Mr Lilamy highlighted Johnnie Walker’s rich history, dating back over two centuries and said the brand has maintained its commitment to quality.
