THE Ndola Main Local Court has ordered a woman to compensate her friend with K3,000 for accusing her of killing her older sister using ‘akalumba’ after she caught her red-handed with her husband.
In this case, Charity Chipoya, 32, sued Agnes Chilima, 39, for compensation for defamation of character in the Ndola Main Local Court.
Chipoya told the court that Chilima used to accuse her of being a witch who killed her older sister using lightning after she found her having sex with her husband (Chipoya’s) on their matrimonial bed.
“She accuses me of killing her sister, Margaret Chilima, using charms which caused lightning.
She died a few days after I caught her with my husband,” she said.
Chipoya said the incident happened in 2022 but Chilima has been accusing her of killing her; a revelation she (Chilima) said was revealed to her by witchdoctoR….https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/
