MINISTER of Home Affairs and Internal Security Jack Mwiimbu says Government’s decision to relocate Zambia Correctional Service (ZCS) headquarters from Kabwe to Lusaka is not against the national decentralisation policy.
Mr Mwiimbu told Parliament yesterday that the ZCS headquarters was relocated to Lusaka to, among other reasons, reduce on operational costs which are associated with frequent travel of staff.
The minister was responding to an oral question posed by Bwacha Member of Parliament (MP) Sydney Mushanga (PF).
Mr Mushanga asked the rationale for the relocation of ZCS headquarters and whether the decision was in conformity with the national decentralisation policy..https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
