ZAMBIA’S Ambassador to South Korea Andrew Banda has called for international collaboration to create sustainable, resilient, and inclusive cities.
Speaking to an audience of global leaders, urban planners and innovators at the 2024 Oxygen Summit held in Incheon, South Korea, Mr Banda emphasised the need to harness technology for urban development while fostering partnerships that advance shared prosperity and equity.At the summit themed
‘Common Prosperity: Connecting the Present, the Future, and the Cities’, Mr Banda emphasised Zambia’s alignment with the global vision for sustainable urban development.
“A smart city is more than just technology,” he said, according to a statement released by first secretary for tourism at the embassy in Seoul, Zondi Chilembo.
