RED Arrows Volleyball Club chairperson Nyambe Mululu says the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) command’s support has been instrumental in the team’s qualification for the 2024 Zone Six Club Championship.
For the first time, Arrows will compete at a regional tournament set for December 5-15 in Gaborone, Botswana, after finishing runners-up to Green Buffaloes in the National Volleyball League.
Other Zambian clubs that are Botswana-bound are Nkwazi (men), Buffaloes (men and women), Wolves (men), Falcons (both men and women), and Chridgers (women).
The Zone Six Club Championship attracts teams from Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
