PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has hinted at the establishment of a national defence university in Zambia.
The President said this yesterday during the launch of a book titled ‘The Art of War and Peace – Understanding Our Choices in a World at War’ at Defence Services Command and Staff College in Lusaka yesterday.
The book was co-authored by Greg Mills and David Kilcullen, an Australian author, strategist and counter-insurgency expert.
Dr Mills, a South African, is a leading expert on African economic and political development, and has written several books on that topic.
President Hichilema wrote the foreword of the book.
“I am proud to say that the genesis of this book was the conference held at Royal Zambezi Lodge in Zambia in March 2022, in which I participated,” he said.
