A 41-YEAR-OLD woman of Lusaka’s Chibolya has been sentenced to 18 years imprisonment with hard labour for defiling a nine-year-old boy on three occasions in exchange for K10.
Lusaka High Court Judge Bridget Maka imposed the sentence on Martha Sampa after a lower court found the woman guilty of defilement.
Sampa will serve the 18 years from the date of her arrest (December 7, 2022).
“You (correctional service officers) are hereby required to lodge the said Martha Sampa at the correctional centre at Lusaka together with the warrant order for execution,” Judge Maka said in a November 4, 2024 order…”
