A Lusaka based accountant, has started the New Year with great celebration after winning a MarkX vehicle in the Diageo Johnnie Walker competition.
Nevers Mumba, shared that he bought a Red Label Bottle Johnnie Walker bottle from Shoprite Lewanika Mall and casually entered the draw after noticing that there was a competition attached to the purchase.
“It’s something I wanted, though I never really expected to win. So when the call came that I had won, I thought it was a dream. This has surely been a great cross over for me into the New Year,” he said in an interview during the presentation of the vehicle on Friday.
Mr Mumba, who was accompanied by his wife, Margaret, said the car would really come in handy for the family as it would make it easier for them to run errands and plan family outings.
“Lusaka is a big and busy city, having this vehicle with make it easier for me and the boys to get around with all our plans,” Mrs Mumba said.
This is the second car the company has given away in the competition. The third car will be awarded to the winner towards the end of January.
