COACH Chisi Mbewe is upbeat Red Arrows will defend the Super League title despite the recent dip in form that has seen them collecting two points from a possible six from two matches.
Arrows drew 0-0 with Mutondo Stars at home on February 8 and on Saturday lost 1-0 to leaders Zesco United at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
In an interview, Mbewe said there are still a lot of games before the 2024/25 season ends.
He is confident his charges will soon find a solution to the scoring problems.
Sixth-placed Arrows have 39 points, seven behind Zesco.
“If you look at the games that are remaining, I think we can still catch up. We just need to keep working hard,” Mbewe said.
Arrows host Napsa Stars in a Week 25 fixture this weekend.
And Zesco assistant coach Clive Hachilensa said they will not relax with 10 matches remaining before the end of the season.
Hachilensa said the team needs to remain focused because topping the standings doesn’t mean they have won the title….https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
