ZAMBIA yesterday qualified to the Africa Netball Cup final after beating Kenya by four goals in a fixture that saw both teams winning two quarters apiece.Coach Lazarus Tembo praised his players for displaying a spirited performance.
“We didn’t expect this scoreline as Kenya came too physical on us. I really thank the players for fighting to the last whistle despite fatigue shown after three competitive games.
I am now confident we are bringing this one [trophy] home,” Tembo said in an interview.
Kenya coach Mingusha Ali said they lost in the first quarter.
