BEING the first time to play in front of Copperbelt supporters at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Copper Queens will tonight seek eliminating Angola with a big margin when the teams clash in a 2024 Morocco Africa Cup of Nations second round return leg.Carrying a 6-0 advantage from the first leg played in Luanda last Wednesday, Zambia are as good as booking a ticket to the Morocco finals.
Angola will need to win by seven unanswered goals to be Morocco-bound.
Copper Queens dismantled Angola, courtesy of goals by Barbara Banda, a hat-trick, Irene Lungu, Lushomo Mweemba and Rachael Kundananji.
Zambia coach Bruce Mwape said they will treat the game with the importance it deserves despite the comfortable lead.
