TAX Appeals Tribunal (TAT) registrar Yihemba Chirwa says they have so far dealt with 13 cases of tax disputes this year involving business owners across the country and tax collectors.
Ms Chirwa said the tribunal is ensuring that there is consistency in their decisions to keep the economy sound.
Ms Chirwa said this when the tribunal paid a courtesy call on Copperbelt Province Permanent Secretary Augustine Kasongo.
She said the tribunal has made tremendous progress and has handled over 600 cases since its establishment in 1990.
She said the tribunal has over 200 judgments with decisions made being 51 percent in favour of Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA), being the tax collector, and 49 percent in favour of tax-payers.
