Pathologist ruled out suicide in cop’s death

NDOLA High Court has heard how a pathologist ruled out suicide in a case a police officer of Mufulira was murdered allegedly by his colleagues in unclear circumstances.
Deputy police commissioner Davies Simwanza, who is based in Luapula Province, alleged that following his nephew’s death, police officers in Mufulira informed him that he had committed suicide.
But this was contrary to what Mr Simwanza observed when he checked on the body in the mortuary.
