Kanyemba names 23 for Tanzania date

UNDER-17 national women team coach Carol Kanyemba has selected 23 players for Saturday’s 2024 Dominican Republic FIFA World Cup second round first leg against Tanzania.
According to a list released yesterday by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) media team, Kanyemba has included both experienced and upcoming players.
She admitted that coming up with the final team wasn’t easy.
“We have gone for 23 players in order for us to have a final look at all of them before we can announce a final matchday squad of 20. The players have been very competitive and we have been reminding them of the importance of getting a good result in the first leg at home,” she said.
