Ghana-bound boxers to show stance

THE All-Africa Games-bound boxers will compete at the National Championship in Ndola on Saturday and the following day enter residential camp.
Zambia Boxing Federation (ZBF) general secretary Bornwell Banda said in an interview yesterday that the All-Africa Games boxers will showcase their preparedness in the Copperbelt provincial capital.
“The federation will have a national tournament in Ndola on Saturday. The Ghana medallist bound team will feature before going in camp on February 25,” Banda said.
Boxing has been given six slots – three men and three women.
Banda said ZBF has selected the final team for the All-Africa Games but the list will be released after the tournament.
