Flirting PF members get ultimatum

PATRIOTIC Front (PF) president Miles Sampa has given a 48-hour ultimatum to party members who have allegedly been offered positions in United Kwacha Alliance (UKA) to pick a side before action is taken against them.
Mr Sampa said his office has received reports that there are some Members of Parliament, councillors and other party officials that have been given political positions inanother party.
He said they have been given 48 hours to clear their names before the party leadership takes action against them.
Mr Sampa said this during the funeral of Mafinga Member of Parliament Robert Chabinga’s sister, Martha Mfune, in Ndola yesterday.
“If the reports we are receiving and what we have been seeing on social media are true, we are giving 48 hours to those people to refuse those positions,” he said. “If they don’t, we shall take it that they have accepted and we will go ahead and take action.”
Mr Sampa said the changes announced by PF faction deputy information and publicity chairperson Nakiwe Simpungwe do not hold water because only the legitimate party secretary-general, Morgan Ng’ona, or he himself has authority to do so.
However, PF faction information and publicity chairperson Emmanuel Mwamba said Mr Sampa is an expelled member and has no business with the party or any of its activities.. https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/
