THE United Kingdom (UK) still remains Zambia’s biggest market for its tourist attractions as evidenced by the number of Univisa applications.
Speaking at the media launch of the Kavango-Zambezi (KAZA) Trans-Frontier Conservation Area (TFCA) heads of states summit, Minister of Tourism Rodney Sikumba said since the introduction of KAZA Univisa, British nationals top the list of countries using the facility.
Mr Sikumba said KAZA refers to the Kavango-Zambezi Trans-frontier Conservation Area, comprising Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe and is centred on the Caprivi Strip-Chobe RiverVictoria Falls region.
Mr Sikumba said the aim of KAZA Univisa is to boost economic growth and make travel easier for visitors.
He said this initiative is done by Zambia and Zimbabwe and is valid for 30 days in any given period of 12 months, as long as you remain within Zambia or Zimbabwe…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
