A LUSAKA resident who filed a complaint against three suspended Constitutional Court judges has clarified that the issue he has against the adjudicators relates to alleged lack of qualifications and gross misconduct.
Moses Kalonde made the clarification to clear what he termed as a narrative by some sections of society that the issues raised in his complaint against the judges had already been determined by Judicial Complaints Commission (JCC).
Mr Kalonde told journalists yesterday that to the contrary, the contents in his complaint against the judges, Anne Sitali, Mugeni Mulenga and Palan Mulonda, are fresh and were never determined.
“There is this misconception and misunderstanding that is being peddled that the grounds on which the three suspended judges are appearing before JCC, that the grounds are the same, that other people brought and they were, sort of, thrown out,” he said.
Mr Kalonde said the issues raised in his complaint against the trio are “fresh” with new grounds.
“Nowhere [have] these matters been brought up in any court in this country, this is new.”
