No child should be kept at home – HH

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says no child should be kept at home as the New Dawn administration has introduced the free education policy.
And Mr Hichilema has hailed Zambians for their continued tolerance following the devastating drought the country experienced in the past farming season.
He said Government is working hard with traditional leaders and other stakeholders to feed people worst-hit by the dry spell, adding that no one will die of hunger.
Speaking at the Shimunenga traditional ceremony of the Ba-Ila in Maala, Namwala district, yesterday, Mr Hichilema urged traditional leaders to work with Government in seeing to it that all children acquire education.
The President was merely greeting the people given that no speeches are given on the final day of the ceremony.
Mr Hichilema said Government is committed to ensuring that every child has access to education facilities, hence he will not accept excuses to keep children at home…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/
