The Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAfCON) qualifier final round return leg between Zambia and Angola will be played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) communications manager Sydney Mungala said in an interview yesterday that the match will be played in Ndola because National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka has not been certified fit to host Confederation of African Football (CAF) and FIFA matches.
Zambia will be away to Angola on November 29 with the return leg on December 5.
The team, comprising local players, assembled in Lusaka yesterday to kick-start preparations. Coach Bruce Mwape has named a 26-member team with foreign-based players expected to join camp on November 27.
At the 2022 Morocco WAfCON, Zambia finished third to earn a maiden qualification to the FIFA World Cup staged in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20 this year.
