HH’s economic diplomacy paying off – Kavindele

FORMER Vice-President Enoch Kavindele says President Hakainde Hichilema’s international engagements with various players are paying off dividends.

Mr Kavindele, who is chairperson of North West Railways (NWR) Limited, believes international presidential trips have many behind-the-scenes undertakings which result in an investment rush into the country.

To validate his observation, Mr Kavindele said just on Wednesday, NWR Limited, incorporated in 2003, received a call from a company in Milan, Italy, that wants to come to Zambia to establish a railway sleepers plant.
